Don't worry, I'm here to help! There are lots of things to consider when planning your event and I'm no stranger to the fact that sometimes the small details slip through the cracks. My best advice; if you love a vendor or have a specific detail that is a must-have for your day, there's no such thing as starting the conversation 'too early'. It's always better to get on their radar or book your date, even if you aren't sure of exactly what elements you'd like yet!

some materials may be better suited for different conditions and locations. talk with your calligrapher about where signs will be placed so they can recommend materials that will hold up and look the best.

a calligraphers writing isn't a font and not something that should ever be traced or copied. if you love someone's work you should buy it directly from the artist, not ask for someone else to replicate it exactly.

personal style should be something you consider when choosing a calligrapher. we may have to make last minute changes based on size or spacing so you want to trust any last minute/style decisions they make.
