YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED?!

Not sure where to start

Whether you're planning your wedding, a shower, birthday, retirement, or any other one of life's parties in between, I'll be here to help you design little moments that will make a big impact on every celebration.

Don't worry, I'm here to help! There are lots of things to consider when planning your event and I'm no stranger to the fact that sometimes the small details slip through the cracks. My best advice; if you love a vendor or have a specific detail that is a must-have for your day, there's no such thing as starting the conversation 'too early'. It's always better to get on their radar or book your date, even if you aren't sure of exactly what elements you'd like yet!
I've put together some resources that I think can help when planning a wedding or another special event, but if you don't see what you're looking for here or would like more detail on anything, let's chat!

I'm here to help every step of the way! It's never too early to start the conversation with your favorite vendors to make sure you'll get every detail perfect for your day.

Consider if you'd like to use signs for additional events related to your wedding (shower/rehearsal dinner) or if you need place settings or table numbers before finalizing decor with other vendors.

Timeline

Some materials may be better suited for different conditions and locations. Talk with your calligrapher about where signs will be placed so they can recommend materials that will hold up and look the best.

LOCATION OF EVENT

Regardless of the number, discuss with your calligrapher what you have in mind and any cost-effective options they might be able to offer up front. What are you willing to flex on vs. spend more on?

BUDGET

Now that you've said yes, popped the champagne, and toasted to forever,
there are a few things to consider before planning your best day ever!

A calligraphers writing isn't a font and not something that should ever be traced or copied. If you love someone's work you should buy it directly from the artist, not ask for someone else to replicate it exactly.

Personal style should be something you consider when choosing a calligrapher. We may have to make last minute changes based on size or spacing so you want to trust any last minute/style decisions they make.

STYLE AND PERSONALITY

If you have unique elements you'd like to include in your event, keep in mind there may be additional ordering or production times associated with one of a kind items that aren't as common or readily available.
